Upon leaving the military after more than 10 years service around the world, he entered into the civil aviation world as a licensed engineer, initially on wide bodied aircraft, but by 1992 his passion for the smaller commercial aircraft enticed him to regional aircraft work.

Sinve 2011 to present day Peter has held several Quality and Compliance post holder positions in support of organisations getting NAA approvals. In recent time he has held the post holder Form 4 position as Quality and Compliance Manager for CAA and EASA Part 147 and Part 147 organisations as well as MAA Part 145.
